Welcome to The 'Verse...
...and also to a humble little Google site that makes as much of the player-facing information regarding the Dark Matter setting available for easy reference. If playing in a virtual/remote campaign GM'd by Scott (me), you can find information about your campaign below. Feel free to browse the site at your leisure.
If you are a player in a Dark Matter campaign GM'd by Scott (me) that plays at-table, you can still of course use this site to reference information but character creation/campaign information will communicated over the table.
This site only contains Dark Matter 5.5e information. PHB5.5e information can be reviewed on dndbeyond.
Notes for the Friday Discord/FoundryVTT Campaign
Character sheets will be made and saved within Foundry.
For character creation, using the Character Creation tab at the top right of the page:
Determine your:
Species
In addition to the species on this site, these PHB species are also part of the Dark Matter setting: Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Halfling, Tiefling
Class (Only the Gadgeteer is on this site. The regular D&D classes are used and can be browsed at DNDBeyond https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes )
Background
Determine if you would like to use the Origin Feat from your Background or instead replace it with a Species Feat (listed on the same page)
Browse the Subclasses for what you'll be interested in choosing at level 3 (we'll be starting at level 2)
Browse the Equipment page for weapons, armor, tools, and trinkets. About halfway down is the section which details what each class gets as their starting equipment in Dark Matter.
Browse the Spells list if you are interested in being a spellcaster. It includes the spell list for each class as well.
Important to note: This isn't the only content available. Anything from the regular D&D players handbook is also available. Dark Matter is Fantasy plus Science Fiction.
The campaign we're gonna use as our structure focuses on odd jobs taken on by mercenaries (you all) working for Grax's Guys For Cheap
